HW transcoding AMD Ryzen 3 3200G + nVidia Quadro P400 not working

Server not using GPU for transcoding.
Plex pass + HW transcoding option enabled.

Graphics: Device-1: NVIDIA GP107GL [Quadro P400] driver: nvidia v: 440.59
CPU AMD Ryzen 3 3200G
OS Debian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)

Any idea how to handle it?

Output of ls -l /dev/dri
Did you disable the onboard AMD GPU, set the Nvidia as the default and have a monitor plugged in?

Hi,
Internal graphic card is disabled by bios.
lspci -v | grep VGA
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GP107GL [Quadro P400] (rev a1) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])

No monitor plugged right now. But when I first started the pc it was connected to gpu and showing terminal while the internal card did not provide signal.

Which directions did you follow to install the Nvidia drivers?

Backports, you can check if the driver is working by typing nvidia-detect

Non-free type nvidia-smi.

It is recommended to install the
    nvidia-driver

Unistall those and install the non-free. For some reason the card is initializing with the legacy 390 driver and Plex needs 418 or higher.

I think it’s a wrong information from nvidia-detect.
Here you can see driver is 440.59

# inxi -G
