I am having a lot of issues with PLEX

I am having a lot of issues with my Plex. It is on a Synology 1618+ with 32GB ram and plenty of Ironwolf storage.

I run movies, some personal videos and a lot of photographs.

My Movies are pausing often and I can’t see some of my photos that I have loaded.

This is real upsetting. I have my boxes and all players Apple TV, Amazon FireStick hard wired throughout the house with CAT 5 cabling. My WiFi devices, iPhone, iPad, Amazon Readers are running with Good signals.

I try to look at a photo that I have digitized and it gives me ‘Unable to Load’ on the pictures.

What is going on ?

Do all your movies pause “often”.

I have the 1817+ which has the same Atom CPU .

ALL my movies are x264 or x265 MP4 and ALL are under 4Gb.
And everyone of my 4000 I have watched play on my Shield, Roku, AppleTV, Xbox one, Samsung TV, LG TV and Android Tablets .
My questions is what format, size, bit rate are your movies !!

By “pausing” you mean “stop playing” ? If so we might have the same issue -> Playback stops randomly with Netgem (DLNA) client since moving my server from Windows to Synology

Not sure how to check for that

It will play for a while and then pause for a few seconds (5 maybe) and then continue on. It doesn’t seem to matter when it will do it.

Okay, I looked around on just two movies, but I am guessing that this is the same. The First Movie is Mamm

OK not the same problem, for me video playback stops completely.
