Sorry, screenshots from only one of the numerous logs of Plex are of no use.

Is the library of the type “TV show”?
How are your files named?
Did you follow the required folder structure for TV shows in Plex? https://support.plex.tv/articles/categories/your-media/naming-and-organizing-tv-shows/

And, since this is Linux, have the files the right access permissions, so that the user account of Plex server is allowed to at least ‘read’ them?

Well its the only TV show that doesn’t work files are name like this

Aqua Teen Hunger Force S01E02 Escape From Leprechaupolis.mp4

Permissions wont be issue since i have 40 tv shows and this is the only one giving me issues. i Have tried renaming but nothing works

Check your agents. Put Personal Media Assets (TV) at the bottom of the list. Plex will then try to match against the online sources first, before using any embedded metadata in the mp4 file.

  • Server Settings -> Agents -> Shows -> TheTVDB
  • Server Settings -> Agents -> Shows -> The Movie Database

How do you have the files structured? Are you using a season subfolder?

Example:
/TV Shows/Aqua Teen Hunger Force/Season 01/Aqua Teen Hunger Force - s01e02.mkv

ok ill try that thanks

i changed it to “/Starlink/Series/Aqua Teen Hunger Force/Season 01/Aqua Teen Hunger Force - s01e01.mp4” still no dice and the settings you mentioned

Solved it i moved the series after renaming and put back it auto scanned so weird…

Thanks for the help

Sometimes you have to do that. If a move doesn’t work you can try the Plex Dance, which forces a full re-scan, metadata download, etc…

Glad you have it working.

Cheers.
