Hi, after the las update of Plex, I´ve noticed that the spanish translation is not really accurate if you´re from Spain (I don´t know if maybe the translation is more accurate with any southamerican spanish). I´ve found the following problems:
-Wrong use of some articles.
-Wrong tone (you know, sometimes it seems that a robot wrote it all).
-Spanglish (some terms are not translated)
-Aeon skin doesn´t recognize accents (so a version without them will be surely appreciated, unless you could change the aeon font type)
Can I help you with that? I don´t know if there´s any app I could use or what kind of help you think should be better. Just let me know.

Having correct Spanish strings would be really good for Plex (if South American Spanish is different, we can always create a separate language within Plex for them).
There are two language files - one for Plex itself, and one for the skin. I realise from your post that you’re probably using Aeon, but it’d be really helpful if you could translate the MediaStream file too. Most of our users use MediaStream, and it provides the best integration with Plex at this time. Also, include all accents if possible - if Aeon isn’t displaying them correctly, then it’s a fault with the skin’s font that the author will need to fix. The fonts used in MediaStream should have no trouble displaying the correct accents.
Right-click on Plex.app and select “Show package contents”. Inside the bundle, these are the files you’ll need:
Contents/Resources/Plex/language/Spanish/strings.xml
Contents/Resources/Plex/skin/MediaStream/language/Spanish/strings.
Just open the files in TextEdit (or any text editor you choose) and modify the text. Once you’re happy with how it all looks in Plex, send them over & we’ll include them in a release! Thanks
