I have a playlist with 1300+ songs in it and I can only see the first 500 songs in the playlist. If you shuffle through the playlist it will play songs past the 500 mark but they dont show up in the UI for the playlist.
If it’s a manual (non-smart) playlist, we limit the number to allow re-ordering (perf tradeoff).
If there is a limit so that you can reorder it how would you reorder songs past the first 500? Wouldn’t having an infinite scroll be the best of both worlds where it only loads so many at a time but you can actually see your whole playlist?
Unfortunately that’s not really feasible. In the future we hope to have the best of both worlds (reorder + super fast load). For now we’re not there yet…
