I can’t seem to access my Plex account via the Plex app on any device I try including my phone and I have no idea why. When I go to login with my Plex username/email and password the app keeps force closing. Every time I try to open it, it force closes. This has only been happening the last couple of weeks. The only way I can access my Plex account is using the Plex add on via Kodi. What could be causing this and is there a solution?
If you go to https://app.plex.tv/desktop can you login in there?
What web browser are you using?
Do you have Plex Media Server installed and if so, what OS is your PMS installed on?
It keeps saying “There was an error signing in” when trying to login via https://plex.tv/desktop. I have a plex media server installed on my laptop (windows 10) using Chrome browser on that.
