I can't catalogue a movie

Hi, I am trying to add to my collection Broadway: The American Musical (2004-2004) Plex cannot find it. I can’t add it manually. Can you please help me to make Plex recognize it and catalogue it? Thanks a lot,

This is listed as a mini-series.
You should add it to a tv-show library and name the file(s) accordingly.

I tried what Tom suggested. Maybe because I have the whole series in one file, Plex doesn’t recognize it. It’s not that it doesn’t recognize the name. The series don’t appear on Plex. What can I do?

How did you name/organize the file in your tv-show library?
The following naming should work:

TV Shows   <- the folder linked to your tv-show library
  Broadway The American Musical (2024)
    Season 01
      Broadway The American Musical (2024) - s01e01-e06.ext

This should list all 6 episodes as separate entries in your library (each playing the full file).

Broadway The American Musical (2004) And the same name to the only file I found (the six episodes together in one file). Again, it remains missing this way.

Plex won’t add a file to a tv-show library that’s not following the naming schema for tv shows / episodes.

I see, I will have to place it back in films, and have it unmatched, until I find a copy in chapters. Thanks a lot for your help.
