I can't upgrade the server to the latest version

Server Version#: 1.24.4.5081
Player Version#: 4.83.2
OS: Ubuntu Server 16.04
Plex Media Server Logs_2022-06-16_18-54-16.zip (3.5 MB)

I’m trying to upgrade to the latest version, but I can’t after the update the plex starts, but you don’t load the libraries.

I got stuck in this version and I can’t update. Could someone help?

Your logs are only showing the old Plex Media Server v1.24.4.5081-e362dc1ee version.

When said, upgrading from that to the latest, does req. a lot of database work, that could last a long time, so try this:

  • Upgrade again
  • Wait for at least 20 min
  • Then try to connect to it, and if still not working, manually grab a zip of the PMS Logs and upload that

I did retry, the update was done successfully the plex starts, but does not load the library. Could you help with that?

@thon.souza

How long did you wait, after installing the update, before giving up?

What little bit exists in your logs (you turned off DEBUG logging) shows your DB is in need of optimization.

Hello, I managed to get out of the old version, however before I was forced to stop the plex and perform the step by step of this link https://support.plex.tv/articles/201100678-repair-a-corrupt-database-1-22-0/ after that, Updated to latest version I waited about 30 minutes and the plex started. @ChuckPa @dane22 Thanks for the attention, I was glad to have solved, because I thought I would have to perform a new installation. From now on I will keep several backups. lol
