Hello, I’m a legacy user (not Curent Plex Pass) but my account is from earlier than 2022 and I should be able to download from my own server.
The problem I have is that when I open the new app and go to a movie there is not download button.
What can I do to fix this?
The Downloads feature ( previously called “Sync”) has always required Plex Pass. Now both the server admin and the player user needs one. The legacy part is that before only the Server admin needed one.
The admin of a server from web app in browser can do a direct download to your computer like if you were on any web page and saved an image to your computer.. That used to be just called “Download file” is now called “Save File…” to avoid confusion with the Plex Pass Downloads feature.
