Simple as the title says, I don’t have the option to choose any 1080p quality on android. I only can direct play at original quality 4k or 720p (high) and below. With mobile network is the same 4k or 720p (high) and below. The thing is… the same movie on my main PC on the web player I can choose any quality I want, the 1080p quality option is there and it works fine. It doesn’t matter if I’m on local or external network, the 1080p options are not there on android. On local network watching 4k content on my tablet or phone works fine, but with mobile network 4k struggles a little bit, so I want to transcode to 1080p but only 720p is available.
Server side: transcoding is all unlocked with hardware transcoding ON. Enable Relay: OFF (i7 7700k, 16gb, GTX 980)
Client android side: Automatically adjust quality: OFF. Limit cellular data: OFF. Remote streaming quality: Maximum. Home streaming: Recommended.
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong or just the android app is the problem.
