I have a long deleted old Server that Still shows up for a home user

I have a old Windows Server that I deleted years ago but still shows up when one of the home users connects. I want to remove it so that it no longer shows up for them. The server does not show up in Settings → Authorized Devices. It’s the server that looks like L******* C*******

  1. go to https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/plex-home and click on the user’s name. Is the old server still shown there, when are on the first tab “Libraries” and you edit this user’S access permissions?
  2. Is it possible that this user has modified their favorited/pinned media sources? If so, you only need to edit the left side bar and remove the obsolete libraries.

  1. No the old Server does not appear in the “Libraries” tab for the user within Settings → Plex-Home

  2. The Server does not appear in the users Favorites Libraries (Checked Web, iOS device, and Apple TV4k)
However when the user clicks More the old server is displayed as an option, with an indicator to show the server is unavailable.

This is kind a uncritical. Obsolete servers will vanish eventually from there. It might take several weeks though.
If the web browser is rarely used by that particular user, these entries can sometimes survive longer.

Side note: if you tell your web browser to retain cookies from plex.tv when it’s closed, you don’t need to login every time.

The Server was deleted several months ago, or nearly a year ago. And yet appeared in all media playback devices for the user.

Just confirmed the server no longer appears for the user, so a Plex Employee must have removed the server from appearing.
