I have taken updates, but still says (Beta) and I have no watch button just record on Live TV

Taking steps to watch Live TV, following instruction given on site. But there is no WATCH button only RECORD and (Beta) is still beside my DVR on System Settings. I took updates straight from Beta setup, should I have done differently?

Which Plex Client are you using?
Live TV is only available with Android TV & iOS devices

The following apps currently support watching live TV from your Plex DVR:

  • Android TV
  • iOS

I do have the option from my iPhone, but what about the Apple computer that I am running server on. Signing into it and going to channel guide and looking at current I only see record no watch from there.

As @hthighway states, Live TV is only available on Android TV and iOS devices.

  1. The DVR is still in beta, that has not changed. That is why it still displays as such in the system settings.
  2. As said above iOS and AndroidTV are the only platforms for live tv currently, your Apple computer runs neither of these and as such will not be able to play it.
