Anyone have an idea when live TV will actually be available? The announcement said immediately, but I don’t see a server update and I certainly don’t see live TV.

It appears to be live on my iPad, but not on the Chrome web version.
ios beta app, just updated and it is there.
One thing I learned is there is a bug in the latest (5.10.2.354) android plex client. The option to switch to Android TV layout doesn’t work, and reverts back to mobile.
The blog post specifically mentions the live tv works on Android TV and iOS, which was why I was trying that setting.
Also just updated the standard IOS app and it is in there also
I have been looking in the Chrome web app. I will try the android app to see if it shows up there.
Its also now showing in in the Beta Android on my Shield TV also. doesn’t look as nice as it does in IOS but it is there !
I just registered for Plex Android beta… can’t believe I didn’t do this a lot sooner. I just have to wait now… I want to play with live TV :[
Viewing Live TV is currently limited to Plex iOS devices, Android TV users, and the Nvidia Shield. By the end of June, Plex should be ready to support Live TV on Apple TV and Android mobile, according to Scott Olechowski, Chief Product Officer and Plex co-founder. Olechowski also says that Plex Pass subscribers should be able to timeshift Live TV in “another month or so.”
I can also confirm now that watching one channel and recording it at the same time only uses 1 tuner. It was pretty snappy to start and change channels, In IOS I did however see my CPU (i7) start jumping from 30 to 59 % just watching 1 channel. Curious what lower powered NAS experience is. The Shield used next to no CPU usage but it has already frozen a few time on a channel that never freezes and signal was perfect. A really really nice first step into live tv IMO
I hope the Roku app adds live TV support!
Waiting patiently for Android mobile… (‘Might have to steal my kids’ iPhones today.)
Hopefully the Xbox one gets this. They power my entire home.
Having used the Channels Plug “HDHR Viewer” for my HD homerun tuners here in the UK, to watch Live TV for quite a while now,
i am a bit underwhelmed with this release.
Time will tell if it will get better. if the Roku app finally gets a decent update and a TV guide at least as good as the HDHRViewer Plugin i would be happy, i understand we will not get a grid layout, but using the iOS version this morning of the Live TV update, i am finding picking a channel a bit clunky,
When i use the HDHRViewer Plugin, it not only allows you to browse the Channels by name, you also get a current and next program listing…

Is Amazon Fire TV considered Android TV? Will live TV and DVR work with my Amazon Fire Plex App?
not seeing it here either. My server is Version 1.5.5.3634 and IOS version 4.12.1. Any idea if those are the right versions to support this? I see DVR beta in the settings and was able to configure that with my HD Home run but no live channels show up on any of my IOS devices.
My android app updated but i dont see anything to do with live tv in there, nor on the server.
How is it supposed to work?

dude your server is old. The current version is Version 1.7.2.3878
Weird. Was showing as “up to date” when checking for updates. downloaded manually and all is good.
