It looks like my NAS is no longer supported, but I want the last version of PMS for my archives in case something happens to the plug in. Where can I get a copy?

I wanted to test plex on my readynas dou v2, but the links on the website don’t work, I think I have the same problem than you. Did you find any solution / link?

I got the latest version that I could find from archive.org’s wayback machine, which archives the content of websites.

Just be aware, I use that PMS file on my Netgear ReadyNAS Duo v2 and I don’t know if it will work with your Zyxel, even though these NASes both use ARM5 cpu’s.

Hi Bob,
the file you’ve sent was just fine. I could install Plex with success, and even tested playing a movie. But, all of a suden, I started getting “Player Error Connection Failed” on my Smart TV, and a similar error on different clients (Pc, android phone).
Looking at the log, I can’t find anything ‘weird’ apart from this line:
ERROR - Failed to start session successfully.

I’ve attached the log, just in case you have ran into something similiar.

It is as I feared, my version of PMS, i.e. PlexMediaServer-0.9.16.6.1993-5089475-arm.bin, is designed to run on Netgear’s ReadyNAS firmware/OS 5.3.x while you want the version that runs on Zyxel’s own OS. Therefore, you are looking for a PMS version specifically compiled to run on Zyxel’s range of NASes, not just something that runs on an ARM5 cpu.

I’d love a copy of this for my old NV+V2.

I really wish Plex didn’t delete away all their old files. Why is it sooooooo hard to find a copy of this anywhere on the internet?
