Is there an update i cant find?
I have the same problem. My server and iOS apps are up to date and I have the PVR enabled and working, but I don’t see how to get into Live TV.
Was stoked to see Live TV announcement pop up in my facebook feed, but their link goes to a page that prompts for authentication, my plexpass credentials fail.
Pretty confusing situation.
I had the same authentication prompt, but when I cancelled it the page loaded anyway.
More usefully, they have a support document at https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/115007689648 . Doesn’t show how to actually get into it, unfortunately.

Should get activated soon.
Keep in mind that at this time, the only usable clients are iOS and AndroidTV
Server must be at least on the latest v1.7.2

Also, and this may just be plain ignorance on my part, what is “Premium”? I never saw Plex use this word before. What is it’s relationship/comparison to PlexPass?
Edit: First line in the document link … “Tip!: Setting up and using a DVR for Live TV is a premium feature and requires an active Plex Pass subscription.”
Plex Pass = Premium
is sometimes used interchangeably even by Plex people.

Live TV showed up on the main Browse page of my iOS app. No updates required - they clearly pushed a configuration change down.

Thanks for the info … crossing-fingers/requesting-that the supported client list grows very quickly. Primarily web or Windows PMP usage for me.
Yup, program guide showed up for me in iPhone client just now. Looks great - well organized.
I couldn’t get anything to play though - it could be my antenna, though it’s a channel that usually comes in fine. It looked like it was going to play, then came up with a black rectangle with the replay button in the middle of it, and the episode description next to it.
No biggie, just playing around, but I will be ecstatic to be able to watch my home antenna remotely so easily.
More info: I got an SD channel to play; could be my server choking on transcoding the HD channel;? Though again it’s usually fine, DVRs have been recording ok.
A good step forward, and hopefully we’ll see other clients added quickly.
Now, if Plex could sort out the EPG so that it shows a list of channels and what’s on now and later, that would be just perfect.
Agreed, this is a good step forward, but will need Apple TV support before I’m completely happy. Still, it’ll be useful and I do think that being able to manage recording schedules from iOS devices will be useful.
Cool – I’ll have to hold tight and hope they support all Hauppauge devices or upgrade to a new device. I currently have the predecessor to the QuadHD (WinTV-HVR-2250 dual)
Just wish there was a windows driver for the original UK Xbox TV Tuner.
OK, I might be missing something obvious but how do I actually watch LIVE TV…
From iOS app, I only see future programs, no choice to browse by channels or program that is actually live now…

I tried updating program, no go…

OK well I resolved this by deleting the DVR and re adding it, restarting the process.
All working fine now!!!

I mean… thanks for rolling this out, team, but how hard would it have been to put this in the announcement so we didn’t spend half an hour trying to figure out why our SiliconDust-that’s-been-there-for-two-years still doesn’t do liveTV through Plex?
