I am having fun with Plex, I love it. However I wish it has Genius mix options like itunes and apple tv. Also some slide show options for pictures and the ability to use Genius mixes for background music in the slide shows.

yes, and it does work well, but I have 600 CD’s off all kinds of music, so a genius to pick to play a mix of rock, or easy listening, etc… is a nice option that would complement Plex well.

Plex does have the Genre, that’s what I was looking for. you have to go to Options under music and then select filter, then Genre will show up.
