I open the settings, go to server but no live tv option pops up?

Give me a screen shot of what you are seeing.
Have you setup your HDHomeRun according to the instructions that SiliconDust (the manufacturer) gave you? Plex won’t see an HDHomerun device until you plugged it in and configured it.
What version of Plex are you running.
Do you have a paid Plex Pass?

I am having SAME problem. I set up my new HomerunHD Connect and have 3 Apple TV’s in the house. I’m running PLEX Server from my MAC for now, and have been for about a year until I can afford a QNAP.
I followed the setup instructions and PLEX scanned the channels and downloaded the schedule perfectly and everything displays perfectly. When I open PLEX on my MAC, the Program Guide and Schedule now appear in left menu, however, there is no option to watch live tv, it only gives me a RECORD button.
When I open the PLEX app on each of my three AppleTV’s, there is NOTHING anywhere on the screen that shows anything about Live TV, PLEX DVR, or even any of the HD channels that I can access with the HomerunHD Connect. There is no option for Live TV or PLEX DVR or anything similar on my Apple TV. What am I missing?
I can watch all channels perfectly fine with a third party app [‘Channels’ from the App Store] on my Apple TV but I would much prefer to use Plex. Am I missing something or have I done something wrong in the setup? Am I simply overlooking something on PLEX?
Please, your help, thoughts, and/or Ideas will be greatly appreciated.
change the pulldown from news to discover. does it show on right now? You should be able to click any of the on right now to play.
@BlairArmstrong your server version is too old for live tv. upgrade to the latest 1.11 and it should work

Yes, I’m a paid Plex pass subscriber.
Yes, the home run is set up and running. It’s running on all my android devices.
My plex server just doesn’t see it.

Now, I’m guessing, but I think the software doesn’t recognize I’m a plexpass subscriber.
you need 1.11, log into plex.tv and update your server version. you will see the version you need once logged into plex.tv with your plaxpass login. make sure you toggle show plexpass downloads.

It Doesn’t appear you have created any library’s yet, Create a folder for TV and make it tv shows.You have to have a Library for tv shows just to tell it where to record.
1.9 should be fine to record and view live tv but it is a good idea to get the latest, lots of bug fixes. It looks like you haven’t setup your server yet.
Also the bigger issue I just noticed is you are using plex media player which doesn’t support TV yet. You would need to use the Web interface, open your browser and go to www.plex.tv sign in and click “Launch”
Is this actually a physical server installed on your local network where the HDHR device is located or is this a server on the Internet somewhere? Your server settings look almost identical to my Plex Cloud server which can not be used for Live TV & DVR.
