I uploaded some home made videos from an old VCR tapes. To my surprise, the plex server matched existing movies to those video clips:
(3).mpg became " Love Is a Rhombus" and (6).mpg is now “6+6” Directed by Hamed Kachuiaan…
Is there any setting that can prevent it?
You might want to use an Other Video type library for such home videos. With that, Plex won’t attempt to match your files to movies or other releases.
