I just rescanned my Video library (on Windows 10) where I recently created ~25 .mp4 files from 8mm home movies that I digitized. When I pull up my library on Plex I saw a few “tiles” that showed commercially created movies which I certainly don’t have in my windows library and a number of my .mp4 home movies files weren’t showing.
Upon further investigation I see that these tiles actually represent a whole bunch of the .mp4 files when I click on Info but I can’t play them individually and I don’t understand why they’re not being represented accurately.
I can’t show screen shots here but one example I see is that the following is listed-
“Pestilent City 8mm reels”
“Directed by Peter Emmanuel Goldman.”
When I click on info all these files of mine are listed-
- C:\Users\seth_\Videos\Home Movies\Weinstock Home Movies\8mm (1966) Dec Mexico 13a.mp4
- C:\Users\seth_\Videos\Home Movies\Weinstock Home Movies\8mm (1966) Dec Mexico 13b.mp4
