[Implemented] Ability to disable 'Season premieres showing up in On Deck'

So with the recent Plex Media Server 1.12.1.4871 server update this item was added…

  • Season premieres show up in On Deck even when they’re outside the window (#8229)

While I understand some would like this feature I for one don’t and would like the ability to disable this say in the advanced settings of the library section.

Would you please consider this request.

Has anyone looked at this request yet from the plex team. This is a seriously annoying feature (at least IMO) that you guys added and a change from how it was before. I loathe the fact when I add a new series to my library now its auto added to the on the deck view.

there should be a way to just enable/disable this on the server so admins can decide if they want this or not.

Can someone please look into fixing this problem? Have started looking at emby as an alternative due to this (and a few other problems).

Very disappointed this was forced upon us - its a major logical change in behavior of how on the deck lists content and should not have been enabled without the ability to disable for users who don’t want it.

Finally this has been fixed with Plex Media Server 1.15.1.707 and the addition of * (On Deck) Added preference for showing season premiers in On Deck

I’m very grateful this is now resolved as its been a major annoyance to me - I am however frustrated and perplexed why it took 11 months to fix this problem !
