Apparently there was a change recently that pops old shows that you’ve watched in the past into the On Deck queue when a new season starts. Very cool. I like it. However, those shows are refusing to drop off of On Deck once my PMS weeks limit is reached. It’s currently set to 4, but I’ve changed it to 1 and it made no difference.
If it matters, these aren’t pilots it’s stuff like S03E01, S04E01, etc. Is that likely to still fix it? If so, I’d rather not run a beta. I’ll just wait until its GA.
S06E01 of a show aired on 1/15/17, and would have been added the next day.
S03E01 of a show aired on 4/11/18, and would have been added the next day as well.
I to fell in to this problem of random shows being automatically added to On Deck and have tried the suggestion of setting my On Deck weeks to zero, resetting the server and then putting it to my desired time period, which did not work numerous times, so as of tonight 27/05/2018 I may have managed to fix the problem
— From the Plex Web Server on my host PC navigating to:
— Library Name “Television” in my case. --> All --> TV Shows --> By Date Viewed
— Then going to the TV Show(s) I didn’t want showing in On Deck and selecting the 3 dots and then selecting Marked Watched
— After Marking Watched which sets ALL seasons watched, I then marked the seasons of that show(s) I haven’t watched Un-Watched and it/they have disappeared from On Deck
I know it’s a lengthy process of clicking but after being frustrated about the items showing when I wasn’t currently watching them I was determined to find a solution that seems to work for now.
I hope this helps someone that comes looking for an answer about this current On Deck problem.
@poeticmute Thanks for the idea but unfortunately it didn’t seem to work once I played any show everything returned to its infuriating state of Season X Episode 1, I wouldn’t mind if it at least worked the way it’s designed, I attempted watching the episode before it and waiting the week I have on deck set to, but no I’m stuck with a dozen shows I haven’t watched in months
@Smiffy885 I thought I had found a way around it, but, after a computer reboot today I am back to the same issue as yourself and the OP where S02E01 of a show I even moved to another drive to see if that trips a new database entry shows directly in On Deck instead of Recently Added like the rest are doing and playing nice.

Yep. Didn’t work for me either. Thanks for the idea though.
