Hey fellow Plexians,
I know this has been requested before, but I noticed that topics are closed automatically, so I want to bring this up again.
I badly want the option to display the original title along with the localized one. Just look at my screenshot of this Hitchcock movie, it doesn’t show the pithy original title, what a shame!
Please upvote, can’t be too difficult to implement, the data is there already!
Best wishes for 2021 for everyone.
Here’s the details section. Original title is there, along with the studio info, which is displayed.
Why not devise a list of checkboxes per library for which data to display?
I would not miss Studio info, once I can uncheck it…
Found something of a workaround. Works for the moment, but it’s all manual work to change it:
If you edit and set the poster image for a film manually, you can choose one with the original title:
This is of course not really a solution, so please keep voting for my suggestion to implement more display options for media infos.

This feature has been implemented for the Plex Movie agent and can be set for individual movies or an entire library.
Therefore closing this thread as “implemented” allowing everybody to reclaim their votes and redistribute them.
