Natively display original title rather than translation?

HI,
Currently, Plex displays English title for all movies and TV shows.
Is there a feature by which all titles are displayed in their original language?

I have TV shows and movies from several regions, and having them shown in English is, sadly rather silly. I can understand the logic for having this as a default, but there should be an option to display original title. (I know I can manually edit the title, but that of course is tedious)
It’s even worse when the title displayed is the English one, and the poster shows the native language title!

No. You set the language when the library is first created.

That’s not the fault of plex. I know the language set on posters from themoviedb are not always correct.

Make sure “Localized Titles” is activated in the properties of your library.
This will at least make sure that the titles are in the language of your library.

There is no feature to only show “original” titles. Keep in mind that this would entail e.g. Chinese characters on a Chinese film title.

It would be great to have the option on a title-by-title basis…

You can override the Title shown yourself and copy in the information from the Original Title.

Yes, and it works for single movies, but not so well for an entire TV series, where obviously there are several episodes per season that need to be “translated”…
