I agree it will so nice to have collection, and even collection from studios ( per exemple i have alot of movie from the studio ghilbi ) and i want to make a collection of them

there are lots of requests ( some much older than this) with lots of votes, and lots of bugs, and lots of apps that still need to be updated for features that are not implemented across the board yet. for example, I'm sure people would like Plex Home to be enabled in for their mobile devices before they start on some new feature.
^^^^ what he said. As much as I'd love the Movie Collections to be implemented I'd rather Plex team fix the newly introduced bugs (breaking some old essential features) first.

The current implementation of On Deck for movies feels pointless to me. I don't start and then stop watching enough movies for this to be a useful feature. I've got a 4 digit movie collection and it would be nice when sifting through them to even be able to manually send movies to On Deck, to build a backlog of sorts.

I currently have a 'Want to watch' playlist, and i simply add movies i'd like to watch into this playlist then use it the same way you would like above. Of course this means i have to manually remove movies from the play list once ive watched them, but its a workaround for the time being

im a new user and paying customer as they say i was searching for a way to gather the franchise/sequel films in a collection like with the tv series i googles it as you would thinking because i'm new i have the naming conventions wrong like i did with the series
what a surprise when i saw threads going back to 2011 asking for this feature i would love to see the grouped film collections too it would tidy up my film browsing alot
Yeah, it s a good feature but like said before. You can do it by using the collection button. I mean you select a list of movie then you create a collection for them. Sometimes it s already created by default when you add a movie. And that’s cool. They just need to create a better interface for this option ( or collection button I don t know how you call it sorry English is not my native … )
