[Implemented] stop playback after current track

Just like the title says - add a shortcut to PlexAmp to stop playback after currently playing track, while keeping the queue intact. I like to listen to tracks in full and currently I have to keep track and ready to click “pause” at the end of a track manually.

100% agree this feature is needed. I’m coming off using Clementine/Strawberry player and this feature is something I have used A LOT and really missing it now that I’ve started using plexamp and the desktop player.

BTW… cannot vote due to the stupid plex 5 vote limitation … but I’ll keep this on my radar and if votes free up one will be landing here.

This is already implemented.
Long press on the track title
“Sleep Timer” - “End of Track”

Let me give that a go and report back, thanks.

UPDATE: Okay, works for plexamp on mobile but I don’t see a sleep timer on the desktop or web client so not fully implemented IMO.

This request is explicitly for Plexamp.
Plexamp can also be used on Desktop.

sigh

Yeah, took a look at it earlier and it’s horrendous on a desktop. Tiny interface and horrible to use. Desktop client is way better.

I’ll just live with the limitation. Do wonder why I even bother giving feedback at all. With the exception of a few suggestions I’ve made most of go either unanswered, ignored or replies like this one with a response of this was for plexamp so go away …

If you can operate it on a touch screen, you can operate it using a mouse as well.
There is a “font size” setting to adapt to larger screens.

Realistically, the web app won’t ever be a full-featured a music client like Plexamp is.

2022 clean-up: implemented

We do appreciate feedback. However, getting confirmations on feature suggestions is a different thing. In most cases, Plex does not comment on suggestions as we do not know if the suggestion can be implemented. We do read through suggestions and take note of the vote counts to guide if/when features do get implemented.

You also need to take note that PlexAmp is a different animal compares to our official clients. PlexAmp is part of the Plex Labs team and is intended to try out new ideas and features. Sometimes these will make it to our official clients, sometimes they don’t.

If you would like to see features from PlexAmp in our official clients, please make a separate feature request for that. This will better guide our development teams of those clients.
