A throwback to the early Xbox 360 days where users could join in movie theatre style and view the movie of another. Allow PLEX to share “game invites” that allow players to join on watch together content. This could be a temporary invitation that only works for the current stream so that server owners can avoid adding those users permanently.
It looks like the Android app has this, but not Xbox. Anyone know when Xbox is going to get the Watch Together feature?

Agreed, this is the best platform for watch together as you you can use voice party chats with XBox. I really hope it’s available some day soon.

@Moussa So the recent announcement in Plexcerpts mentioned fancy new apps for the release of the Xbox series x. Where’s the watch together feature then? When will it be released on Xbox?

I tried the watch together on Android and FireTV and I don’t understand why it couldn’t be implemented on Xbox (if only as ‘join only’). It would be nice to at least be able to have someone else host and join in theirs on the Xbox.

Just dropping by to add my vote for watch together support on Xbox. This is the one platform I have Plex on that seems perfect for this functionality.

Looks like a new Xbox app released today for preview that’s a “new app rewritten from the ground up” but it doesn’t list WatchTogether as a feature… when are we getting it if not with the written from the ground up app?
