I’ve been using HDHomeRun DVR service for a couple of years and I have several recordings on it. I recently bought a Plex Pass and I’m considering switching to Plex for Live TV & DVR. Is it possible to import the recordings I have on HDHomeRun DVR into Plex?
Yes, very easy. Just add the HDHR record directory to a TV show library in Plex and they will be imported.

You may want to make a new/separate TV Shows library just for HDHR recordings depending on how those recordings are structured and named.

You would need to do it manually - it is unlikely for recordings to follow same naming conventions as Plex Media Server. Suggest you manually move these into a library just containing these previous recordings. New recordings in Plex could be set to go into separate dedicated recording libraries for movies and shows

They seem to be named and recorded to subfolders appropriately. I have done this and just adding the top level HDHR recording directory caused everything to be correctly identified in Plex.
