All my music collection is being managed in MediaMonkey (about 13000 tracks).
It´s possible import, at least, the ratings.

This would be crazy helpful.
Music on plex definitely seem like an afterthought but simple things like this would help. It is strange to me that there is no way to import a playlist (.m3u) into plex. Every other media platform has this ability.
I have to agree with these statements. I absolutely love PLEX. I tell everyone I know about it. I travel quite a bit for my job and as such this has become a great improvement for me, no more carrying an external drive with me.
Since finding it my media server at home and while I am away from home is awesome except for the fact that I cant import my m3u playlists that I have built over the last two decades or so. I used Mediamonkey before for streaming my music on my local network and used the apps on my Nvidia Shield TV to play any of my m3u playlists. Sadly as I cant simply import my m3u playlists into plex I am forced to continue using Mediamonkey for streaming my music. I installed Itunes in an attempt to use it as a workaround as https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/204892678-Creating-a-Premium-Music-Library describes Import from iTunes as follows:
Enabling this option** will attempt to import your music playlists from iTunes**. It will also import your ratings, the date you added the music, as well as play and skip counts for tracks in your library. This option requires that iTunes be installed in the default location on the computer running Plex Media Server.
As I highlighted the key in the phrasing is “will attempt”. I installed Itunes on in the default location on the same pc that runs my PLEX server. I imported my music into Itunes including the M3U playlists. I removed the my music library from my plex server and restarted the process using the import from Itunes option. There was no difference in the outcome, still no playlists.
Until a simple feature as import m3u playlist becomes available I will just have to use Mediamonkey; however, being able to use PLEX for all of my media streaming needs would be the desired outcome.
Please look into this, or in the least respond as to why this is not a feature that can be developed and implemented.
