I’m sharing this for other ROKU users. I thought that PLEX for the latest ROKU Stick had a bug, but the problem was Roku has too many darn features!!! The reason why subtitles never showed was because I still needed to go into my ROKU settings manually, and enable “On Always.” By default it was set to “On Reply.” I don’t know what “On Replay” means, but it doesn’t do sh*t. I was forced to change it to “On Always,” then subtitles will show. (also make sure it’s enabled in PLEX).
