Sub titles, even though they are present do not display on my 2 roku’s. Even if I ask plex to download it, it does that, then it still doesn’t display. It’s quite frustrating I will say. It’s possible it’s human error because turning them on is not a simple task. IT should be as simple as disney+'s roku app. You hit the * button and boom they come one. This seems like a no brainer.
They used to work, but pretty much are more misses than hits the last 1-2 years.
I’ll give that a try later, at least if it works it’d be nice… I’d still prefer to have control, as sometimes it’s just hard to make out what was said so I like to rewind and put them on and see what was said… sigh…
Sure, you can set the subtitles to none while your playing within the plex roku app which would turn them off. Then select them again to enable again if needed. I’ve done that myself when watching some documentaries.
