Why did so many of us start experiencing this in January when the cert expired at the end of September? I see the same issues even after switching to a zero SSL cert too.

Nothing that I’m aware of. Given there’s still posts about other issues, I suppose it’s not a wide ranged issue (which doesn’t mean it’s not annoying for you).
With what model / TV set are you experiencing this?
What version of Plex for WebOS, what version of WebOS?

Confirmed this works on Windows for anyone else going through pain.
Still find it strange this started in January when the CA cert expired at the end of September but all good now.
