For context, my children have a tablet but I blocked Youtube because there is a bit too much stupidity. On the other hand, they have access to my plex.
I downloaded the episodes of educational channels on it and put them on plex server (Nas).
For the moment I have “épicurieux” and “c’est pas sorcier”.
The problem is that in the “c’est pas sorcier” directory associated with plex, there are 150 episodes.
But in Plex, it sees “c’est pas sorcier” / Season 1 / 2 episodes… and that’s it.
I have asked for rescans again, they do not detect them…
I thought it was the format of the videos, I have 60% mp4, 38% Webm and 2 episodes in Mkv but they are not the ones visible on Plex.
Would you know how to make all the episodes appear?

Note: The names of the episodes visible on Plex don’t make much sense: Episode 100 and episode 1970. If you have a tip to display the file names, I’m interested.
Looks like your file names might be throwing Plex off and give you…
(1) bad identifications where Plex probably considers multiple different files to represent the same episode
(2) bad matches where the identified episodes don’t correspond to the online repositories used by Plex (e.g. TMDb or TheTVDb.
e.g. the episodes of C‘est pas Sorcier are all listed as belonging to 1 season on TMDb, while TheTVDb has them organized by seasons per calendar year (1993-2014) (aired order) or story arcs (DVD order)
To give you an example of how to name your episodes.
You should name and place the files like so:
Médias/
le cinéma/
serie/
C‘est pas Sorcier/
Saison 1993/
C‘est pas Sorcier - S1993E01 - La science et le patrimoine.ext
C‘est pas Sorcier - S1993E02 - Le look.ext
...
Saison 1994/
C‘est pas Sorcier - S1994E01 - La cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie.ext
C‘est pas Sorcier - S1994E02 - La tactique des zygomatiques.ext
...
ext = the file format, mp4, mkv, etc.
You will find the rest of the file naming you need at the link below, just make sure you name and place them using the examples shown above.
I should also add, that you can use a program called Filebot to automatically rename and place your files for you.
You can setup a folder called Rename for example. You then drop a file or two into that folder and Filebot will correctly rename the file/s using the Plex standard and then move them to the appropriate folder on the NAS, based on the settings you use in Filebot.
