I have Optimized Versions set up for several series for which I don’t keep episodes once they’ve been watched (via Edit Series > Advanced > Delete episodes after playing). Everything is fine until I’m temporarily caught up on a series and Plex has automatically deleted the last episode. Once that happens, the Optimized Versions entry for that series is stuck with the “The path is invalid” error even after new episodes become available. My only option to get the series optimized again is to delete the old entry, then recreate it.
Request: Improve the Optimized Versions behavior so entries are only invalid when there truly are no episodes available or the path is otherwise invalid.
