Delete versions bug

I think I found a bug where if I use the delete versions feature I cannot recreate that version because plex says it exists. If I go into the converations tab at click the x next to the corresponding conversion I can optimize that version again. It seems like plex should just delete the prior optimization entry when it deletes version.

PMS keeps track of optimization ‘jobs’. It is currently done this way so you can, for example, create a job to optimize several TV series and then incrementally optimize only those new episodes which have been added since the last time the job was run without optimizing the entire series again.

The same methodology works for movies. If you were to re-rip your movie again and like the new results better than the old, you’d obviously want the optimized version to reflect this better quality rip. In this scenario, you delete the individual optimized output file and then refresh the optimization job.

The Refresh control is here (red arrow below). I created a ‘failed’ job to demonstrate.

Does this help?
