When trying to use subtitles that aren’t the primary language (for example, when a guest is watching with me who’s first language is different from mine) set in the server settings, it gets pretty cumbersome.
Suggestions for options that could improve this:
- Enabling a search for subtitles before playing a show on TV apps. Currently this only works if a show already has subtitles (can be done on web/phone etc but not tv).
- Giving an option for additional languages to have subtitles auto downloaded that without changing the preferred language, possibly tied to analyze.
- Dual subtitles. Long shot but would be amazing.
