It would be very handy to be able to control the playback volume for plexamp in app instead of going into pavucontrol (on linux at least), or whatever volume mixer your supported OS uses, and manually turning down plex amp from there. Theres times i want to listen to music when say in a discord call and i want to turn plexamp down to be able to hear others in the call and needing to open pavucontrol and stuff is highly inconvenient when i want to make a quick change to the playback volume
You can already do it by setting a shortcut in:
- Plexamp Settings > Advanced > Global Keyboard Shortcuts > Volume Up & Volume Down
I do agree however that there should be some visual feedback
oh nice i didnt notice that, it would be nice if it was a visual thing in the playback thing like it is on plex web
There is a slider available if you open the “Cast” menu.

thats a meh place to put it, i dont really use the casting feature so i havent really looked in that menu. oh well, thanks for mentioning that
