In Helen Mirren profile page the local server does not appear even after doing the up/down dance to have server show. IMO a separate glitch

As a note I appear to only be having this issue on Helen.
When I access same page remotely on the server from a mobile windows laptop the local server “does” appear. No issue.
I have run troubleshoot in the Plex sever, rebooted the sever, Cleared cache in the TV and rebooted the TV.
Also under each listed title on her page I can only play the movie from Plex and will not show or give me choice to play from local server. IOW (local server is not listed under each title like elsewhere) I can access the move however directly from Library or recently added.
I have the same problem with various artists. I don’t remember if Helen Mirren is one of them, but it’s definitely more than one and seemingly random (although persistent - i.e., same artists all the time). I was going to report this after doing some more testing, but you beat me to it.
Lately I’ve only been using my Firestick, which like your TV is Android. I have yet to try my other Android (Shield) and non-Android (LG TV, Xbox, Roku) clients to see if they have the same problem. I’ll do that tonight and provide an update.
UPDATE: I tested all the clients I have (Roku, Shield, Fire Stick, Xbox, iOS) and only the Android clients (Shield and Fire Stick) have the problem.
With all of the non-Android clients, the actor details screen briefly displays “Checking Availability” to the right of the Filmography button, and then it displays the “Movies & Shows in Media Libraries” as expected. With the Android clients “Checking Availability” doesn’t appear, and for the problematic actors, neither does “Movies & Shows in Media Libraries” - the screen only shows “Movies & Shows on Plex” and the Filmography also doesn’t show any content on my libraries.
And also for me, Helen Mirren is one of the actors for which I have this problem. None of my content with her as an actor has an edition tag.
Are all your movies with Helen Mirren marked as an {edition}, perhaps?
No Edition. Also this only happens on the Google Smart TV app, 3 pics attached) (Hisense U8h65 2023 model, plex player ver listed in main body) Roku app (pics attached) and Windows apps are fine. IMO believe it is a exceed title count issue. As noted separately and only on the plex google app the local server does not appear until you do a down/up movement and seems to happen only with actors with larger title count.
Each PIC title lists Plex viewer app and description
What the heck Helen!
I can also reproduce this for Helen but I’m also seeing this on Android with a couple other people. For people that do show the PMS availabilities, these availabilities are slow to populate. Thanks for reporting @kidkjbiker.
I have the same problem, as reported above. Of the clients I have, only on Android. Here’s another actor that won’t display: Laura Linney. There are many others.

So glad that I found this thread. I have the same issue on all my Android devices (Smartphone & Fire TV sticks). Issue can be reproduced for several actors like Sean Connery, Roger Moore and many more. Feels like the more famous actors are affected.
My Plex server runs on a home assistant (Lenovo Thinclient).
Tried out troubleshootings:
- Updating meta data
- Re-Indexing Media files
- Optimizing data base
- Clear packets
- Deactivating all adult parameters
- Reinstalling Plex app on android devices (after clearing cache and data)
No results.
Would it be possible to change the header to show that this not only a Hellen Mirren issue?
