In the Plex mobile app, the list of Albums under an Artist may not be viewed as a list, which can make album selection impossible

I have a Plex library with a long list of albums that all have this naming convention:

One Long Artist Name - Album Name

I have my view option set to Artist first, so when you touch an artist, you see the album list.

Unfortunately, when navigating from Artist to Album on Android, Plex will only show you the album cover grid. You may not choose list view. This means that all the albums look the same and it is not possible to navigate to a specific album of interest.

To see a list of albums and not the grid view, you must select Album as the top level organization, which obviously may not be desired.

It would be better if you could choose between Grid and List view in any context where you see a list of albums.

The 3-dot menu in grid view could also print the full album name with the playback controls… not as good for nav as list view, but better than a grid view which is completely useless.

I agree with the need for a list view mode.

Plexamp is much better in this regard, but unfortunately I often want to cast what I am playing. Gotta pick which one I want more, I guess.

Yes, please, please. List mode for albums. On the Android app, my Bach selection looks like 222 of these:
