Try setting the episode ordering for the series to “TheTVDB (Aired).”

By default, The Movie Database is used and it has a very different ordering.

You can change the episode ordering by editing the show itself (not the season), navigating to the advanced tab, and setting the “Episode Ordering” option. You may need to refresh metadata for the show afterward if you don’t see the change.
