It seems that players on the same network as my server has an indirect connection. Other users outside of the network do not have this issue, and I am not sure why this is happening. I’ve attached the logs, hopefully they will say something helpful. So far the players I’ve noticed this with on the same network are a 2021 Samsung TV and an Android TV.
Sorry for the late reply, I just got home from travelling and was able to look at my server more. I had changed the DNS as the article suggested, to no avail. I don’t have the mobile server option enabled. This problem has only recently started, but I hadn’t changed anything related to the network settings on the server or the ISP end, and have had no issues for months.
This seems to be affecting all devices on the local network, including the ones listed before. My phone can’t even access my arr apps through LunaSea
Ok, after poking a bunch of stuff I somehow fixed it. It was super strange and I am not sure what exactly caused it to start in the first place, but I’m glad its fixed now.
This problem has happened again and I still have no clue what the issue is. I tried everything I have previously mentioned, as well as a few things like disabling firewall, confirming the ports are open, and flushing dns settings. The strange thing was all of my things (Plex, Radarr, Sonarr, etc.) worked perfectly fine a few hours ago. Now, while they are still running on that windows machine, I cant access them from anything else on the network.
I recognize this is probably more of a Windows/networking issue at this point, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
Same problem here. I can’t figure out what’s going on. I can access via google chrome without problems, the problem only occours in the Plex Media Player (Windows 11).
When I try to connect to the server, this log appears at the Plex Media Server (Docker in Ubuntu Server):
Ok, I fixed it again after doing some intense digging. I had to keep broadening how I was searching and eventually came across this article which seems to have fixed it! Note that this solution is for Windows.
This allowed me to see and access all of my apps (Radarr, Sonarr, etc) from a browser on the local network and through LunaSea, as well as establish direct connections to my server from other devices!
