Indirect Server Access on LAN WiFi

Hi
I have noticed that my local LAN devices (on WiFi) only have indirect connections to my Plex Server. This is resulting in all my media streaming at reduced quality (around 2mbps).
I am seeing this on my iOS devices specifically. But others as well.
Any advice on how this can be rectified?
Regards

You might need to review your home network setup. This could mean the wireless router/access point is establishing a separate subnet inside your home network (instead of using the main router’s DHCP server to assign local ip addresses). Some routers will separate wired/wireless connections…

Thanks
The Server is on the WiFi (not wired) but was operating on a separate bandwidth (5Ghz as opposed to 2.4 etc.). This has been the case for quite a while now and i have only just recently noticed the Indirect issue.
To the point when i turn off Remote Access all together on my Plex Server, my Wireless devices cant see the server at all.
Ill put all devices (Server, Apple TV etc.) on the same wifi band and see if that fixes the issue.

Hi Again, just on the IP addressees being used. I checked the router and all devices seem to be on the same address.192.168.0.#####. Not sure if this rules out any of the issues.

I have placed my server and my device on the same WiFi band (2.4) and it si still indirectly connected to the Plex Server. If i turn off remote access, i lose all connectivity.

Can you check if your router is using some kind of DNS rebind protection? If do… can you set an exception for plex.direct?

Sorry, I’m not sure how to check for that.
The router is the Internet Service Provider’s NBN (Australia) device.
The DNS appears to be set to that provider (whatever that means)
The Dynamic DNS option does not appear to be enabled
