I use sonarr to organize the name. Most of the shows are fine. But here is the one weird one.
This is detected by plex: The Office (US) (2005) - S09E22-E23 - A.A.R.M and Finale [SDTV][Cooker 2.0].rmvb
But these are not:
The Office (US) (2005) - S09E21 - Livin the Dream [Bluray-1080p][AAC 5.1][x265]-RARBG.mp4
The Office (US) (2005) - S09E17 - The Farm [Bluray-1080p][AAC 5.1][x265]-RARBG.mp4
Is it due to mix resolution? What should i do or try?
Could be the multitude of square brackets or some conflicting embedded metadata in your mp4 files. The base file name shouldn’t be causing any trouble.
I mean i used to not have these bracket. i even changed some of the file name manually. it is still not detected.
So maybe it is due to " embedded metadata"? If so, how should i fix it?
Plex Dance the episodes after renaming. This removes incorrect matching information from the Plex database.
Regarding embedded metadata:
If using the Plex TV Series agent/scanner:

Local Media Assets (TV) to the bottom of the list (or deselect it).To see which agent/scanner you are using:
The The Office (US) (2005) may or may not cause issues. ( ) is used by plex for year hints so having (US) in the series name could cause some funkiness. Just something else to consider if the other suggestions don’t fix your issue …
Tried everything. still no luck 
If you could attach server logs after a full plex dance (all steps) of the series would help identify the issue.

Don’t see much related to the office so I’m not sure you done a full plex dance. Regardless, I bet you are having problems with Modern Family …

Also, the matcher could be having trouble with some shows based on activity in your logs, do you have many unmatched shows ?
Really, your naming of things do not match the plex standards which I think could be the main cause of your problems but will let the ninja’s comment some more https://support.plex.tv/articles/naming-and-organizing-your-tv-show-files. Example, the season folder names are using single digit names Season 1 where it should be Season 01.
May I ask the silly question here based on tv shows I have?

The only time I’ve seen need of the (year) in a TV series is when the series name is a reboot.
e.g
The Flash vs The Flash (2014)
Technically there is no series called, The Office US. Its an alternative name for the show when released on DVD from what I understand. Some sites call it The Office US, The US Office, The Office (US) and even netflix now call it The Office (U.S.). However, when it aired originally it was called The Office, nice and simple (at least in my region).
Plex may (or may not) match any variation of these but to be honest I never give plex the chance, I just include the matching id in the series folder name:
The Office (2001) {tmdb-2996}
The Office (2005) {tmdb-2316}
The way i solved this issue ends up being download the video again from another source… Then everything works…
