I am fairly new to Plex and use the following:
Windows PC with I7-8700K 16GB DDR4 3000MHZ GTX1080 and some SSDs
Streaming to: Nvidea Shield V2
Network: 1 Gigabit fiber network
When I click on a 1080p or 4K movie that makes no difference.
Plex transcoder Goes directly to 95-100% consumption of my CPU
Everything has been updated and runs on the latest version.
This prevents me from possibly purchasing a premium variant.
Has a fix been made for this or can it possibly be prevented?
