Is it normal to see three plex processes when install the PMS on the Terramaster NAS?
It started with two and went to three.
Is there any issues that you’re seeing other than the amount of process associated to PMS? I have access to a Terramaster NAS and can try to reproduce. What is the Terramaster model?
Thanks for your help. The problem occurred after two back-to-back power glitches. Each glitch caused an abnormal shutdown. The second power glitch occurred as I was in the middle of uninstalling and reinstalling the PMS. It was after the second abnormal shutdown that I noticed the multiple plex processes.
I was finally able to resolve by just doing a normal reboot. After a normal reboot, my RAID synchronized and the plex installation ran and completed normally.
Don’t know if it was related but one time my fedora server went down after power out-age and would not start back up. My preferences.xml file was only 0 bytes in size. Somehow the out-age trashed it. Had to reclaim and reconfigure stuff. I always keep a back up of that file now.
This is where it typically is on a Linux type OS install.
