Anyone else having trouble with their server being intermittently unavailable today?
I updated to the latest release after it started happening. Streaming from/to my local network the server is disappearing then coming back a few minutes later without any intervention. Sometimes restarting the server seems to help get it back up quicker though.
Did your server crash? I’ve noticed some VERY strange oddities with my plex server today. Happened about 3 hours ago but now seems to be behaving itself.
My own server was crashing every 10 minutes or so but as I say now is working okay.
BTW… I’m not impacted by the bloat stats bug incase folks decide to focus on that. I’d say plex Inc was pushing some account level update out …
No crashes. I run PMS via Docker, I was monitoring logs. I tried updating the image (which pulls the latest PMS release). The result was the same with the old/new version. Everything else on the server was working normally. I did see in the logs at one point (but not all times) that there was a disconnect from some IPs that I assume at the Plex control servers.
Anyway, it seems to be better the last 24 hours. If it starts happening again I’ll dig in and do more debugging and report back.
