I installed the Plex Server on my new Synology DS720+ (DSM 7) after abandoning the Plex server on my previous Windows 10 Laptop (I have uninstalled everything from the laptop weeks ago).
I can successfully login to plex.tv. Everything is working fine until I select
“Account Settings”. Plex is asking me to login again, as I provide my password and login I get the message “Internal Server Error. Something went wrong on our end”.
I get the same result when I open Plex Server on my Synology. The Plex page appears, asking for my login on plex.tv. I login and I get the same error “Internal Server Error. Something went wrong on our end”.
I checked the forum and documentation but I was not able to fix the problem.
I’m a paying customer. Please help.
Thanks!
P.S. As mentioned in the following comments I’m getting the same error also with the Windows Plex Server on my Windows 11 laptop. looks like the problem is with my account on plex.tv
Thanks @ChuckPa , I give Plex Server the entire night and still showing the same error.
As a test , I installed also the Plex server on my new laptop and I’m getting the same error.
Looks like my account on the Plex website is corrupted.
I also removed all the port redirect from my router I was using with the Plex server on my old laptop, but it didn’t fix the issue.
Any suggestion? Any data that can help diagnose the issue?
The version I installed is the one from Plex website “PlexMediaServer-1.25.2.5319-c43dc0277-x86_64_DSM7.spk”. I tried the “Normal Installation” and got the error the first time, then I uninstalled the server and tried a new installation with the “Install using Plax Claim Token” option and got the same error.
