Server Version#: 1.23.5.4841
Player Version#: 4.62.1
This is a problem that has been reported for a while now. I’ve tried switching to Lost.fm. I’ve tried restarting. It hasn’t scanned initially yet (i.e. this is not intermittent, it just plain won’t scan). I know a newer server version is available, but i have upgraded several times and still get this error. Can anybody help? Log attached (I think).
Plex Media Server.log (5.1 MB)
I attached the Plex Media Log. was it not the right one.
here it is again. if it’s not right, let me know and what I should do to get you the right one.
thanks for the help.Plex Media Server Logs_2021-08-04_21-19-59.zip (6.3 MB)
It worked. After logging out of Plex on the server and the rebooting the NAS, it came up. Plex recognized the server as a new server with the same name, so I had to delete references to the old server, but no problems. I think it rescanned all content. but it’s up and running.
So in truth, I don’t understand how the server was not signed in properly when I could access content remotely. And I don’t understand the log file, even forensically,
But THANK YOU for all the help and getting this back and running. Is this something that will need to be done periodically? can I somehow accidentally get improperly signed in again and is there an easy way to see that and correct it without going through the logs and rebooting the NAS?
