Everything has been working fine on my Plex server for years but now it suddenly refuses to scan my audio books folder. I get an error that says “An internet connection is required to scan library files. Please check this server’s connection and try again.”
It also refuses to scan my music folder. It scans my movies folder, my tv folder and other folders just fine.
This is normal. It’s been like that for years already. Verify that the server has an Internet connection, then try again.
Interesting. I’ve been using Plex for over 10 years and it is definitely not normal. Internet connection is fine. Plex was scanning all other folders fine but refused to scan music or audiobooks folders.
It is for music libraries for quite a few years already.
