Internet goes down, Plex stops working

For as long as I’ve been using Plex media server, everytime the local network looses the internet connection, the Plex Media server stops working. My internet is down now and Plex on my LG TV shows the message:

Network Unavailable
Make sure your device is connected to your network and has a working internet connection.

The TV’s connection to the WiFi appears to be good. Im getting the same response from my Apple TV connected to the TV. The Plex Media server is on a QNAP NAS. Everything instance of Plex on the LAN is updated to the latest version.

Are there any guides that can show me how to make sure everything should be working when the intenet goes out. Im sure its a setup issue because these are the moments that Plex should shine and save the day.
