I’ve been using Plex for a while and as I was unhappy with the apps I’ve decided to start on my own. It’s in a very early stage of development but at the moment it seems to be stable. I’m planning on adding a lot of the new iOS27 features to improve the Siri integration in the near future.
So far I have video playback, music and server dashboards working. (Along with a few visualisers for music)
Looking for a few brave souls to test it against their libraries and let me know what I’ve done right and what I’ve done wrong. The app does not track anything unless you supply a bug report and even then it’s sanitised by Apple.

I see a couple of people have downloaded. I’ve made quite.a few updates over the weekend. Hopefully people will like them.
I’m kind of confused it seems like a Music player but then I see movie libraries? Can you play regular videos as well as music. Also is there no album cover art?
It’s an All-In-One app with Video/Music and Dashboards. I was fed up jumping between apps.
There is album cover art just not in the “Demo Library” that’s included. If you connect to your own library it shows Artwork.
Ahh alright. I kind of forgot that Plex got rid of music from the main app since I’m on Android I still have the old experience app as a clone and recently installed the new experience after waiting a year.
Are there any improvements though that Plexamp doesn’t have? The only thing i liked about Music being with the original app is that Music videos can still work whereas Plexamp can’t do that since it’s meant for audio only.
It’s still early days on the App (I’m about 3 weeks into coding it 
). Just been trying to stabilise everything first and I seem to be at that stage hence put it out for a first look.
Happy to take suggestions for additions.

I’ve made a few more updates. Latest addition is Music Videos back into the music section. Still early days.
v0.6 is now in the queue with Apple for approval. A lot of new features have moved from my private build to the public build (and are listed on the website)
